I bought this product recently, to check if it`s "worth the hype". Because it is not easily available in Poland (like plenty of great stuff that is out there... :( ), hence I chose to get if from the cultish.pl online shop - it looks like they sell original stuff (there is plenty of this on allegro, but you never know!).
I would say that this is - along with the UD Naked pallets (you can check my reviews here in future) - the most "hyped" product on the web. And to me it is worth all the hype and all the money :)
It is absolutely stunning, that consistency, smell, and how it leaves your skin... man, this is heaven!
Ok, but let me start from the beginning - I`ll let you know what is my evening face routine, and then we move on to the review.

My skin is going crazy due to my pregnancy - I am in my teen age again. I get these freaking pimples all over my face, and this is really not helping me to feel grate about the fact that I am pregnant.Plus - all the ladies that already been there know - you need to be extremely careful with all the usually working products like retinol and other witamin A, benzoylis peroxidum, salicylic acid etc... what a drag! For the fist two months I have been struggling like hell to do something with my raging skin, then by third month I gave up a little.... and this actually helped :)
On to the review.
The ingredients:
- I would say that the composition is really OK. I don`t like the PEGs in there, but maybe these are not the worst ones... It has a good dose of grape seed, almond, sunflower oils, and a very profound set of essential oils. It also has the lecithin and citric acid.
- Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetearyl Alcohol, PEG-8 Beeswax, PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, PEG-60 Almond Glycerides, Sorbitan Stearate, Palmitic/Stearic Triglycerides, Limonene, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Silica, Glycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Benzyl Alcohol, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Citrus Aurantium Amara (Bitter Orange) Flower Oil, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Peel Oil, Juniperus Virginiana Oil, Aqua (Water), Lecithin, Linalool, Butylene Glycol, Octyldodecyl PCA, Menthyl PCA, Tocopherol, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Crithmum Maritimum Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Moringa Pterygosperma Seed Extract, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Flower Oil, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil, Disodium Phosphate, Citronellol, Citric Acid, Geraniol, Citral.
The packaging:
- it comes in a plastic, goldenish jar that has double walls, which I herd helps to protect the product from the temperature changes. I honestly don`t mind to dip my finger inside, but this can be annoying for some. I just think that this was the best way that they could come up with storing a product with this kind of consistency.
The consistency:
- when you pick up a dose of this product it will melt down between your fingers almost immediately. If you ever had a Shea-butter balm, you know this feeling of something hard going to an oily consistency.
The smell:
- I love moringa smell... it is sweet and a little bit oriental, nothing to much very subtle and relaxing. Recently I found out that The Body Shop does a moringa body mist, and it was on sale - I stocked up :)
The application:
- due to it`s oily consistency it goes smooth on the skin, and goes a long way - a little amount (like the tip of your ring finger) can go for your whole face.
The after-effects:
- this stuff is my addiction... it leaves your skin soft, nourished, ample, bright and relaxed... you smell like heaven and the 'relaxed' feeling puts you to sleep immediately.
The efficiency:
- this is super efficient product. I bought it in May, and I just touched the top layer of the product (I`d say I used maximum 10% of the box).
How does it work in long terms?
- one thing I`m sure off - this helped to make the structure of my skin better, calmed down the "pimpling" chin, and helped to cure the scars. I suspect it also has an anti wrinkle effect, probably because it helps to keep the moisture in the skin.
I would definitely recommend this to you, if you are ready to spend some 250 PLN. You can order it from here - they have this good offer now with two products (100 and 50ml travel size package) and a muslin cloth with it. They ship worldwide!
Would I buy this again? Yup, this is an easy go-to product for me. If I`ll have time and courage to play with stuff, I`ll try to make a cleansing balm at home, with 100% eco ingredients. Lately I found somewhere on YouTube a quite good recipe - I`ll share with you here. It is in Polish, but if I ever get to do this, I can tell you what was my experience.
Thanks for reading, and let me know what other products you would be interested in checking out.

- I start from taking of my makeup (if I am wearing any...) with Bioderma (review). I pour some on the cotton pad, and just keep it against my eyes for a while to soak off the mascara (I am a mascara junkie), and then just wipe it off.
- I am a shower type of girl - I wash my face when taking shower, so I started to use the Savon Noir - the "black soap" (you can ready my review on it here). People will now go: "Oh no, you can`t wash your face with soap, it will dry your skin to dust". Actually, the Savoin Noir has nothing to do with the soap that you use to wash your hands and body daily. Long story short - it is made from black olives, it is reach in good fats, and cleanse your skin with a touch of enzymatic peeling like a pro. Plus you can get one with ECOCERT, which is the "go-to-product" for preggos like me :)
- And then the EH Moringa Cleansing Balm comes to the picture. I believe that this balm is rather used to clean of your makeup, with help of a muslin cloth - but this is not for me. I just cannot use it this way. Firstly my skin is super sensitive on top of other problems, and the muslin cloth tears the thing out of me. Secondly - putting oil on dirty face is to heavy, I cannot massage all that dirt into my face... The way I found this works heavens for me, is to apply this after washing my face, and giving it a good old facial. I massage it into my skin for about 5 - 8 minutes (usually 5 is my maximum) and then wash it off with warm water without using the cloth. I really believe in all the grate ingredients that are in this stuff, and there is no better way to deliver them, then by massage.
- The next step is to tone your skin. Aside the fact that I have these zits all over, I have a generous amount of redness due to very thin skin and weak blood vessels (what a great combination of oily and super sensitive skin). One thing that really helps to sooth my skin is witch-hazel. I buy his extract from an 'eco' shop, and dissolve few drops of witch-hazel hydro-lat extract in it (5 drops/200ml). I damp a cotton pad with this mixture and dab it all over my checks. I don`t smudge it around, I dab it - it is with much better benefit for the sensitive skin.
- After toning, I moisturize. I use pure jojoba oil... Yup, I am crazy. I put oil on oily skin - however this idea should be already widespread, some people don`t feel like it can be good for their skin. I used to have these fears as well, but now I see that these were irrational. Jojoba oil (amongst all other great benefits) and our natural sebum are supposed to have the closest composition. Since we don`t want our skin to produce more of that, we apply the oil that easily gets trough and nourishes the skin, calms it down and relaxes the wrinkles (yes!). It worked better then all the other stuff that I used before (including vichy idealia, la roche effeclar, etc.). I apply a small amount in massage it in.
- Last but not least - for the moon surface of my skin I apply the tea tree oil. It dries of the new zits, and helps to heal the ones that have been brutally popped... yes, I still pop my pimples and I know I should not... I just can`t handle this.
